What is the Order of DeMolay?

The Order of DeMolay is an organization dedicated to teaching leadership skills and helping build character in young men. Every member is treated with dignity and respect, lasting friendship and trust is encouraged between young men of diverse ages, economic backgrounds, social environments and religious faiths. Discrimination is not tolerated in DeMolay.

Who can join?

It is open to boys between the ages of 12-21, of good character and reputation, who believe in God, or a Supreme Being, and who pass a ballot of the members.

Who should join?

All boys that are interested in having a great time, learning leadership skills, increasing civic awareness, accepting personal responsibility, and developing excellent character traits should join.

Where and when do they meet?

John Greenleaf Whittier Chapter of Haverhill meets on the First and Third Saturday of each month (except July and August) at 6:30 P.M. at the Haverhill Masonic Building at 111 Merrimack St., Haverhill, MA.

How else can I be involved?

Sponsors, parents, and guardians may get involved assisting the success of the Chapter by attending Advisor training and becoming a Chapter Advisor.
