Congratulations to Bro. Lloyd E. Smith of Saggahew Lodge A.F. & A.M. on 60 years of Freemasonry!  On March 30, the Grand Master of Masons in Massachusetts, M.W. Paul F. Gleason, at a luncheon hosted by the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts (for Brethren living in Florida), presented Lloyd with a 60 year pin to mark the occasion.

Brother Smith told us,”He [The Grand Master] presented a 50 year Medal, then a 55 year pin to another Brother.  Then he sort of hesitated so we figured that was it.   Then he said, ‘I also have a 60 year pin to present…’ Wow, what a surprise that was!”

Each year the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts sends a delegation to visit brethren residing Florida, which boasts a large number of Massachusetts Masons.  Brother Smith now resides in the Sunshine State, where he remains active in the fraternity at his local lodge.  Also pictured, is Bro.
